I wrote a book for my family. Then an editor approached me and said it would be a better book - if I rewrote it! So I did. I cut some and added some and cursed my editor soundly. But she never gave up.
I wrote more. Deleted even more. Rewrote more than I care to discuss. But she never gave up. And neither did I. Enjoy this website. It's full of old family photos and links to relevant videos. If you or a family member are a descendant of the Dalmatian/Istrian exodus after WW2, I would be especially pleased to hear from you. I hope to keep adding to the site so please follow if you would like to receive updates please tell me in a comment below! - Aldo

About meMy wife Linda and I live in Victoria, BC, where I am a radio show host at CFUV. A River of Oranges is my first book. I look forward to connecting with people who are interested in the history of Fiume, the post-WW2 exodus and anything else we might have in common! |
